The Perfect Blondie

After the perfect brownie, I had to make the perfect blondie. I’ve made this recipe close to a hundred times since it’s such a crowd pleaser. Again, I would greatly appreciate if someone could try this out in the states and tell me how they turn out.

Blondie dinner, Noura? 😉

2/3 cup unsalted butter (166 g), room temperature or zapped for 30 seconds in the microwave

1 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp vanilla extract

1 tsp coarse sea salt

2 eggs

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 cup chocolate chips (you can mix semisweet and milk)

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a square baking pan.
  2. Cream the butter, the brown sugar, the salt, and the vanilla extract.
  3. Incorporate the eggs, then the flour and the baking powder.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Bake until the edges are golden and the center is still a tad bit gooey, approximately 25-30 minutes.
