Oven Roasted Apples

A healthy dessert, even with the melted butter!

6 apples, cored

¼ cup salted butter, melted

2 tbsp brown sugar

¼ cup maple syrup

¼ cup almond butter

8 chopped prunes


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a pan with wax paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, the almond butter, and the chopped prunes.
  3. Arrange the apples in your pan and stuff them with the almond mixture. Mix the melted butter and the brown sugar, and drizzle over the apples.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes.
